Capson Family Reunion 2018

We headed to Alabama this year for our semi-annual Capson Family reunion. My sister, Laurel resides there and my parents recently moved there so they could help take care of her kids for a year while she went back to school for an intense pta program. Every member of our family was there, except for our three missionaries, Ambria, Clayne and Dallin.

Our fun itinerary, planned by Laurel...

 

 On day 5 we all attended church together and had a fathers day celebration at my parents home. This reunion is such a sweet memory because it was the last time I spent time with my mom before her passing away, on June 26th. I will forever cherish the tender mercy that we could be together as a family at this time.

Finn loved hanging out with his big kid cousins, especially when they would let him play their video games. (pretty sure most of the time they were pretending he was the one playing!)

Day 2: Alabama Splash town Adventure

Mom was her happy, busy self. She may have been weak and tired because of her heart condition but she never complained and enjoyed every minute with her grand babies.

Day 3: Noccalula Falls

 

 Ben's favorite part of the trip was hiking and swimming under the falls with Finn.

  

 Finn found some treasures! He is all about finding treasure for his box at home but i'm pretty sure one of them is a piece of glass.

  

We had fun riding the train with cousins and visiting the zoo!

Sweden squealed the entire time at the zoo because she was so excited and wanted to squeeze every animal to death. It was incredibly cute yet deafening at the same time!

 

Day 4: Pool day!

 

  

They caught a frog in the pool at night and Finn kissed it and begged to keep it.  

Day 5: Happy Fathers Day!
