Astronaut, Dinosaur and Unicorn siteing

Pumpkin picking at Milberger's Nursery

The faces I get when I ask Swedie to smile!

hmm... what spell should I cast upon my brothers?

Our Astronaut, T-Rex and Unicorn! They each got to be what they asked to be for Halloween this year and they loved it. That T-Rex mask is a bit heavy but Fox was obsessed with it and how his tail light up.

Cause bedtime is the right time...

to fight crime!

Finn, Fox and Sweden were Catboy, Gekko and Owlette, the little kid trio who turn into superheros in their pajamas at night... PJ MASKS!  It is one of Finn and Fox's favorite tv shows and Finn talked about dressing up like catboy for months. Finally, the day arrived and they went trunk or treating at church, where they invited their friends, Isaac, Emma and Asher. They went trick or treating again Halloween night with Nova and Avalon. They got too much candy and ask for candy when they wake up in the morning and all throughout the day. Their favorite candy was the lollipops, now that those are gone they are liking the skittles and m&ms.

We went to the Zoo Boo and the boys got their face painted. Finn chose the blue batman mask and Fox chose the dinosaur.

Halloween night the boys trick or treated in the Hernandez neighborhood with Nova and Avalon.

We made orange colored pancakes and decorated them to look like pumpkins

Spidey & Foxy

For Halloween this year Finn dressed up as Spiderman, his favorite super hero. He was so excited when he tried on his costume and wanted to wear it all day. He loves to pretend to shoot web out of his hands and bounce around like he has super powers. It is cute to see so much passion and fun he has.  Fox dressed up like a fox, of course!

We went to the Pearl Farmers Market the morning before Trunk or Treat at church. There, Finn had his face painted like Spiderman. He sat the most still he has ever been in his entire 3.5 years of life while get his face painted. When he saw the result, he was ecstatic! We tried to have a fox nose painted on Fox's face but he wiggled too much and it turned out smudgy.

The boys got lots of goodies at the Trunk or Treat and then again in our neighborhood, Halloween night. Finn raced around with the big kids (our next door neighbors and their friends) and sometimes he joined Fox in the wagon so he could rest (and eat his candy).

We took a trip to Millberbgers, where we went for a spooky hay/train ride, bounced around in the bounce house and picked out pumpkins.

Silly Monsters

I had lots of fun creating these hoodie monsters for our halloween costumes this year.  When the first costume idea didn't work out I scrambled to come up with a plan B.  All it took were hoodies, felt, doodads and some crafty time to put these costumes together. It worked out  perfectly!

Isn't that how it goes, at the last minute, under the most pressure, you, as Tim Gunn would say, "make it work!"

We rocked our costumes at our church trunk or treat/carnival/costume parade.  There, Finn won silliest costume!

We also went to our friends the Rusts, for a Halloween bash...

 minute to win it games...

party'd out...
