This past July Finn and I spent a week in Utah while Ben ventured off to High Adventure with the scouts in Colorodo.
While in Utah we attended the Larsen ladies reunion at Uncle Randy's home. It was so nice to see so many of the family members that I hadn't seen in years and Finn had never met.
We attended Ben's cousin, Maddy Larsen's homecoming from her mission in Florida. Afterwards we visited the home of Shar and Ryan and their son, Harrison and played with the cousins in their cute neighborhood.
Finn and I had so much fun playing on the trampoline and in the sprinklers with the Hyde kids- Jackson, Kensi and Colton. Abby brought the kids up from Arizon since Tony was out of town working. To top it off-we were able to meet her newest, Grayson, just a couple months old at the time.
We took off to St. George for a few days to visit my sister, Heather. It is a gorgeous town-we were able to visit Reed's dairy where they have just about every flavor of milk you can think of! My favorite: root beer. Finn's favorite: banana. We played at nearby parks, swam at the local pool, attended Heather's softball game, went to the zoo and visited the Temple which is just up the street from her.
Ali and Eric threw a BBQ at their cute house for the family. The kids enjoyed having a dance off and roasting starburst in the fire pit.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was seeing all of the floats created by local stakes for the SLC Pioneer Day Celebration Parade. I was amazed at the creativity--gosh do they go ALL OUT!
Lee and Syd were on the committee to design this float for their stake.
