August 15, 2017
3 months old

Milestones
recording all the firsts
  • Sweden has the cutest little squeals and she giggles, especially when her brothers are being silly. The first time she giggled real big was when her brothers were playing with a balloon over her head.
  • Sweden went on her first road trip to Fort Worth, Texas where she  went to the stockyards and rodeo,Water Wall Park and her first Texas Rangers Baseball game.
  • She has discovered toys and is putting everything in her mouth.

some of Sweden's
Favorite Things
  • Attention. She loves it when anyone will look her in the eyes and play with her.
  • Being held. She will stop crying immediately when she is in mommy's or anyone's arms.
  • Her brothers. Finn likes to tell her jokes (that make no sense at all) and he'll laugh real big making her laugh as well. Fox loves to tickle and play peek a boo with her. He treats her like his little pet. He is wants to be around her all the time and often wakes her up or runs to her when she is crying. It is so sweet watching her brothers love on her.
  • Sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed.

Not so Favorite Things
  • When she isn't being held.
  • Riding in her carseat... she really does cry whaaa whaa wha all the way home.

About
Sweden
  • Sweden is really as sweet as can be... She is smiley and cuddly and makes the sweetest little sounds. We have fallen in love with her more and more each day as she grows and interacts with us.

Fox begs for Sweden to lay next to him on his pillow. He wants to hold her and play with her all the time. We say that he treats her like his little pet; it's cute and a little annoying at the same time. Mommy keeps a close eye on him to make sure he doesn't crush her with his hugs or try to feed her anything.

Swedie, already acting silly with her brother.

Cowtown fun

We spent a few days in good ol' Cowtown, Fort Worth, Texas! We used to live there, so we loved seeing our favorite sites, eating at our favorite spots and seeing some of our favorite people.

First stop... the Fort Worth Stockyards for a fun Pawnee Bill Rodeo show that the kids absolutely loved. Afterwards a hearty steak and potato dinner at H3.

We stayed at the Marriott, just outside the awesome, Water Wall Park.

We caught a Texas Rangers Baseball game. The first major league baseball game for Fox and Sweden.

We attended church at the 8th ward where we used to attend years ago. It was so fun to see such friendly faces and realize we hadn't been forgotten. The 8th ward will always have a place in our heart.

Sometimes a good meal should be eaten shirtless ;)
