3 is the magic number

We blinked and Finn turned THREE!

He is our silly, tender hearted, feisty, agile, fearless and friendly little guy. He says hi to strangers, hugs everyone, calls us "mommia," "daddia," and "babyia." He is afraid of monsters, loves paw patrol and spiderman. He eats beef jerky and popsicles; says "aqui" when he wants you to come "here" and when we drive down a hill he throws his arms up and says "whee!" He insists on putting dance music on in the car and has arguably the best dance moves around. He adds so much fun to our life.  We love him to pieces.

Finn's third birthday party was a splash! HIs birthday consisted of a bounce house, water guns, sprinkler, bubbles, watermelon, ice cream cones, presents and best of all friends… lots of them!

Grandpa and Grandma Snarr came to celebrate Finn's birthday, just as they did when he turned one. When we told Finn nana and papa would be coming he said, "pop pop!?" We hope the cute new name will stick.

Fox at ten months

April 30, 2016
10 months old

Milestones
recording all the firsts
  • Fox isn't walking yet but gets closer everyday and has such a speedy crawl that he can practically keep up with his brother.
  • Fox has mastered crawling down the steps in our house. I showed him how to turn himself to go backwards just a couple of times and he caught right on.
  • Fox is repeating sounds we make. He often says "mama" and "dada." And if we say it first often times he'll repeat it. Such a smarty.
  • Fox eats anything and everything. He wants everything I eat and will beg and cry for it. He tried a pickle for the first time and it didn't phase him.

some of Fox's
Favorite Things
  • Fox loves his big brother and even though Finn bonks him, steals his toys, and smothers him with hugs and kisses, he gets wiggly excited to see him every time.
  • Fox likes to look in at daddy through his office glass doors. He loves to be tickled and throw in the air by daddy.
  • Fox loves to be held and consoled by his mommy.
  • Fox has fun playing in the kiddie pool with his brother on our back deck. He giggles when going down the slide and splashes around.
  • Food. If he is crying, you can almost always stop him with a little snack or treat.
  • Finding Finn's sippy cup of juice and stealing a few sips.
  • Playing "aachoo!" with mommy
  • Fox loves playing in the kitchen cabinets and will often crawl inside of them.

Stories
about Fox
Finn and Fox will call out to each other from opposite ends of the house. It has happened a couple of times and it is the funniest thing. They both are speaking jibber jabber but one will yell out and the other will respond.
