I am grateful for our Prophet, President Nelson. He came to San Antonio to speak and we were privileged as a family to attend.
“For each of us, there may be a really serious storm sometime in our
lives or there may be a tragedy,” he said. “But with faith in a loving
God and trust in His divine plan, the pain of such a tragedy can be
endured. And if we truly understand who we are and why we are here, we
can face the future with faith in God and His eternal plan of happiness.” -President Nelson
I am grateful for this thoughtful gift from Lee and Sydney Snarr. Syd had a dress and bow ties made out of her father's dress shirt for my children. It was so thoughtful and it means so much to us, I will be certain to pass it down to future generations so that we always remember Keith Gilbert Larsen.
I am grateful to have a wonderful family and to be able to spend Thanksgiving with some of them. Marshall and Hayley just moved to Dallas, Texas and joined us for Thanksgiving dinner in San Antonio. Lee and Syd came as well. We love getting the cousins together to play and hope they continue to build close friendships and bonds.
I am grateful for friends who are like family, here in Texas. The Ellsworths are one of those families. When we moved into the ward, the first Sunday we sat behind Gary and Cindy and learned that their son is our good friend from Fort Worth! We became immediate friends. Recently we said good bye to them as they took off to live in Germany. We will miss them, and hope to visit them one day!
