Phuket Thailand

We took a three week family vacation to Thailand in March 2015. Some people say we're crazy for traveling with a toddler, but honestly it's not as hard as it may seem, especially when we have daddy around to help 24/7. It is sweet to have such good quality family time while at the same time seeing the world.

After 26 hours of travel we arrived in paradise, Patong Beach in Phuket Thailand. We didn't waste any time getting our bums to the beach!

We enjoyed eating lots of yummy Thai food throughout our trip and while in Phuket we made a trip to this banana pancake stand just about every night. There are lot's of people selling crepes but no one made them as good as this guy!

We went to the Phuket FantaSea show. You walk through a Carnival village with games, handicrafts and shopping, then enjoy show that highlights the culture and heritage of Thailand.

Enjoying the pool at the Holiday Inn.

The Monkey Temple. We were told we'd see monkeys but unfortunately they weren't around. We did see bats and the caves were amazing to explore.

We took a ride in a long tail boat to a floating village, Koh Panyee. The village is built out over the water on stilts. Those that live there are fisherman and sell handicrafts to the tourists.

We went sea-kayaking through caves in Phang Nga Bay.

We would have to lay flat in the boat as our tour guide led us into the caves through very tight spaces like the one here...

James Bond Island, Thailand. Named because "Man with the Golden Gun" was filmed there.  And so, isn't it appropriate that Ben, the man with the "golden guns" (from holding Finn like that so often) was there to shoot photos. Seriously though- everyone there was taking pics of them and Finn clearly enjoyed all the attention.

So many people loved Finn, everywhere we went they would take pictures of him, especially when he was doing his acrobatics with daddy.

We discovered a clean, safe and fun kid play place that watches your children and is run by the sweetest European woman (not cheap but very worth it).

And so… while Finn had a hay day, so did we! Ben and I went on a little date, we ate Pad Thai, had fresh watermelon smoothies, shared a scoop of the best I've ever had mango sorbet. We got foot massages, went shopping and he spoiled me.
